 Praised by the press as “a magician”, virtuoso Sivan Magen transforms the harp into an instrument of unheard-of depth of colors and range of expression. Jerusalem born Magen has appeared as a soloist across the US, South America, Europe and Israel, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.

Two composers whose music shares the charm and beauty of folk song. Czech composer Antonin Dvorak’s Bagatelles, performed in its original instrumentation for harmonium and strings and Franz Schubert’s Quintet in C major for two  violins, viola and two cellos.

Walter Verdehr and Fangye Sun, violin. Valentina Shmyreva, viola. Carl Donakowski and Daniel Tressel, cello, and  Sergei Kvitko, harmonium.
